What would you do if you were offered a great money opportunity? One that came at the expense of your relationship with your family and self respect?

This is the story of Carlandra Boodoo. A freshly nineteen-year-old full-time massage student witnessing the money struggles of her Trinidadian mother and downfall of her older brother from a work-related injury causing his layoff. Guilt eats at Carlandra as she feels helpless in her family’s situation.

Until things take an unexpected turn one afternoon as she’s enjoying the sunny outdoors with her boyfriend Benito, when out of the blue she is suddenly offered a money opportunity that could either make or break her family’s situation. Benito encourages her to take a chance, but Carlandra hesitates as she’s not sure if she’s ready for the risks that may be involved..
