D. M. Shiro was born in California in 1991. She enjoyed writing about science fiction and historical literature in her youth and has aspired to become a writer for some time. Her greatest influences are Dean Koontz, J.K. Rowling, and Stephen King. She currently resides in New Mexico with her husband and two sons.
