What inspires you to write?

My inspiration comes from the deep mysteries of human nature and survival under immense pressure. My debut novel was inspired by a haunting dream where my protagonist, Victoria Stevens, visited me crying, with her mouth completely and smoothly sealed by her own skin rather than stitched with thread. That image forced me to bring her world to life.

What have you written so far?

I built a foundation in digital storytelling, short stories, and crime suspense serials on Wattpad and Inkitt, including Hayley: Deadly Silence. I transitioned to the global English-language market with The Woman of Fire, Eyes of Fire Book 1, a 476-page dark fantasy/psychological suspense/sci-fi thriller.

Do you work with an outline or plot sketch, or do you prefer to let a general idea guide your writing?

I am a structured outliner. I map major turning points and suspense hooks with clean digital outlines focused on psychological twists and character arcs. Once set, I write in complete silence and absolute darkness, illuminated only by my monitor.

Did you independently or “self” publish, or did you go the “traditional” publishing route, and why?

I chose independent self-publishing for complete creative freedom over story, branding, and pacing. For dark fantasy and thriller series, managing my own book data and publishing schedule is invaluable.

Can you share a little bit about your latest book?

The Woman of Fire follows Victoria Stevens, a woman rewritten by a secret experiment and sold to a secret facility. She must question what changed her more – the experiments or the betrayal of family.

Tell us more about your main character. What inspired you to develop this character?

Victoria came from that dream as a silent plea to have her story told. She is not seeking power, but reclaiming her voice after being treated as property.

Do you listen to or talk to your characters?

I listen to them intensely. If a scene feels forced, I stop and listen to how the character would realistically react to danger, letting their choices pivot the plot.

Who are some of your favorite authors that you feel were influential in your work?

Masters of psychological suspense, complex world-building, and intricate crime plotting. Indie dark fantasy and thriller authors who blur the lines between good and evil.

What advice would you give to aspiring authors?

Find your specific literary niche and own it completely. Write the exact story you desperately want to read but cannot find. Focus your branding on that audience.

What is one great lesson you have learned as a writer?

The future belongs to independent creators who understand digital discoverability. Focus on quality storytelling and optimize your digital footprint to build a borderless audience.
